PJP2 THANKS TEXT 160220 Leviticus 24:1-4(NIV/ emphasis added/jaj)...."The Lord Said to Moses, 'Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for The Light so that The Lamps May Be Kept Burning Continually. Outside The Curtain That Shields The Ark of The Covenant Law in The Tent of Meeting, Aaron is to Tend The Lamps Before The Lord from evening till morning, Continually. This is to be a Lasting Ordinance for the generations to come. The Lamps on the pure gold Lamp Stand Before The Lord Must Be Tended Continually."....
I am Thankful for The Lord's Light to us. I especially appreciate that He Teaches us that our investment of Time and Effort to 'tend' to His Lamps Continually Reflects to me that our Relationship is a two-way conduit. Granted The Lord is Lifting The Heavy End of this 'joint venture'. Thus 'tending' His Light within me, Calls me to Ensure He and I have our Time together as Father and child.
My Thanks Prayer for us today is merely - Thank You Lord Jesus for Your Guiding Light in our Life. Holy Spirit, Thank You for Your Indwelling, bring Your Light within us. Father God, as we 'tend' Your Lamp of Light and Love, May we Share and Reflect Your Light to those who do Not Yet Know You. Blessings.....Amen/Amen.....jaj
