I am Thankful that God The Father has Claimed us as His Own Through the Life, Sacrifice and Resurrection of His One and Only Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. I will admit, I use to struggle with this Concept of 'Be Holy To Me Because I, The Lord Am Holy'. I mean there is No Way that I have that capability. But, Praise God, our Lord Jesus Reminds me, it isn't me, BUT It Is Him that Empowers us and Accomplishes this Amazing Transformation within us. It is Not my personal 'holiness', because in reality THAT is not worth the electrons I just typed in this sentence. Much like the ashes we accepted on Ash Wednesday, we know we are dust and we return to dust. Praise God that His Eternal Holiness, Like His Blanket of Eternal Love, has been Extended Over us by His Son's Loving Mercy and Grace.
My Prayer of Thanks for us today would simply be, Lord Jesus, May Your Holiness Permeate through every area of our Lives, today and always....Amen/Amen....jaj
