PJP2 PROLOG 160205 PROLOG Focus Exodus 33:17-19....

Psalm 75:1 (NIV/emphasis added/jaj)...."We Give Thanks to You, O God, We Give Thanks, For Your Name is Near"....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 160205 Exodus 33:17-19 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)..."And The Lord Said to Moses, 'This Very Thing that you have spoken, I Will Do, For you Have Found Favor In My Sight, And I Know you By name.'  Moses said, 'Please show me Your Glory.'  And God Said, 'I Will Make My Goodness pass before you And Will Proclaim Before you My Name "The Lord."  And I Will Be Gracious to whom I Will Be Gracious, And Will Show Mercy on whom I Will Show Mercy.'"....

Forgive me, Team, The Holy Spirit is Throwing me right into the deep end on this Prolog.  He is Sharing with me This Amazing Snapshot of YAHWEH's personal Relationship with His servant Moses.  I mean look at this image we're seeing of The Creator of All, The Most High of Heaven, The True Master of the universe - He's Talking with Moses, as Exodus 33:11a says, "Thus The Lord used to Speak to Moses 'face-to-face', as a man speaks to his friend."

For a split second I hear that whiney/selfish old self saying, "I want that too....why not me?"  Then, Gently I Hear The Holy Spirit Remind me that, Indeed, The Lord Jesus Says the Very Same to us.  He Too has Ensured, By His Sacrifice for us, that we have this very same Reconciled and Personal Relationship with Him.

The Last Point for today's PJP2 PROLOG 160205.....our Lord Jesus, His Holy Spirit and God our Heavenly Father - He Knows us By name.  Now that can be both Encouraging and at times a bit Daunting....I mean what I hear in my memory is Mom or Pops Johnson, or perhaps a Teacher at School, expressing in a dour/disciplining to follow tone...."Jeffery Andrew Johnson!"  Yikes....that never bode well for my behind.  Yet, in the context of Exodus 33:17-19, I Know that God The Father is Saying our names as The Loving Father, Full of Mercy and Grace, Calling us to His Loving Embrace and Way.

Cool.

My Prayer for us today would be - Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Knowing us by name.  Thank You for Loving us, even when You Know we are indeed not worthy of Your Love and Grace.  Praise You for Your Seeing Beyond our weakness, and even employing and transforming by Your Love and Glory, to become a useful tool in Your Loving Hands.  Help us Lord to Speak to You 'face-to-face' and Know that You Are With us always.  May we Ever Reflect Your Love and Light to all.  In Your Precious Name we Raise our Prayers and Praise....Amen/Amen....jaj
