Psalm 98:1(NIV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Sing to The Lord a New Song, For He Has Done Marvelous Things; His Right Hand and His Holy Arm Have Worked Salvation for him"....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 160203 Exodus 27:21 (NIV/emphasis added/jaj)...."(And God Said to Moses)....'In The Tent of Meeting, outside The Curtain That Shields The Ark of the Covenant Law, Aaron and his sons Are To Keep The Lamps burning Before The Lord from evening till morning.  This Is To Be a Lasting Ordinance among the Israelites for the generations to come."....

"We will Keep The Light on for you.".....I'm sure we've all heard this phrase at sometime in our lives.  I know around Christmas, the tradition has started to grow of keeping candles 'burning' (electrical candles of course) in the windows through the night-time hours.  During my deployment, I know Cindy kept a candle lit for me as well.

Even our Lord Jesus makes a reference to Lighting a Lamp....Matthew 5:15-16 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."Nor do people Light a Lamp and put It under a basket, BUT on a Stand, and It Gives Light to all in the house.  In The Same Way, Let your Light Shine Before others, So That they May See your Good Works And Give Glory To your Father Who Is In heaven."....

I had often pondered where our tradition for 'keeping a light on' through the night had come - can't say for certain, but I am Hearing The Spirit Chime in that Exodus 27:21 may well be One of God's Guiding Lights in our Lives that He Established to Aide and Facilitate our Relationship with Him, even in the darkest of times.

So, The Word of Encouragement I am Hearing From Him today is to Be Open to Him, and Let His Light Shine both In, Around and Through us.

My Prayer for us today would simply be - Lord Jesus, Help us to Ever Be Open to Your Light in our Lives.  Holy Spirit, Guide us to Shine Your Light for All to See and Know You Are The Source of All Light.  Father God, May Your Light Continue to Shine Within us and Call to those who do Not Yet Know You.  We Raise our Prayer and Praise in Your Holy and Precious Name....Amen/Amen....jaj

May His Blessings ever be upon you and yours in All your Ways.....jaj
