PJP2 PROLOG 160202 PROLOG Focus Exodus 23:20

Exodus 15:2 (NIV/emphasis added.jaj)...."Moses said, 'Praise Be To The Lord, Who Rescued you from the hand of the Egyptians and of Pharaoh, And Who Rescued the people"....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 160202 - Exodus 23:20 (ESV/emphasis added.jaj)...."(And God Said to Moses)....'Behold, I Send an Angel Before you To Guard you on the way And To Bring you To The Place That I Have Prepared."....

What a Blessed Word of Encouragement and Promise.  God The Father Knows full well that His children, the people of Israel, even just in the next 40 days/nights, while Moses is on Mount Sinai receiving God's 10 Commandments et al, they will begin to drift away from their solemn oath (Exodus 24:3c - "Everything The Lord Has Said, we Will DO.").  

Yet, Praise God, The Love of Jesus, His Holy Spirit, and God The Father Knows NO Bounds.  John 3:16 sounds Loud and Clear...."For God So Loved the world, THAT He Sent His One and Only Begotten Son, THAT whosoever Believes In Him Shall Not perish, BUT Have Everlasting Life."....

Yes we can clearly Hear Him Promise in Exodus 23:20 that He Has Sent His servant, an Angel, to be our Guard and Guide.  Note: Our Lord Jesus takes This Promise to The Next Level as He Shares with us in John 14:26 (NIV)...."BUT The Advocate, The Holy Spirit, Whom The Father Will Send In My Name, Will Teach you All Things And Will Remind you of Everything I Have Said to you."....

Jesus also Affirms these Promises via the last line of His Great Commission to us (Matthew 28:20c)...."And Surely I Am With you Always, even to The Very End of the age."....

Now These Promises can indeed get one's motor running!  My Prayer for us today would be this - Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Your Love, Mercy, Faithfulness and Grace.  Lord Jesus, Please Forgive us when we stumble and drift.  Holy Spirit, Open our spirit's Ears that we May Hear You, and Your Calling to Return and Repent.  Father God, Thank You that You have Loved us So Much that You Do All You Can to Reconcile our Relationship with You, even to the Point of Sending Your Son, our Lord Jesus, to both Show us Your Way, and to Pay The Debt we owe.  Lord Jesus, Help us to Learn and Follow You.  Holy Spirit, Guide and Guard us to Ever Be One with You.  Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, we Worship and Praise You and Ask These Prayers in Your Holy Name....Amen/Amen....jaj
