PJP2 PROLOG 160201 PROLOG Focus Exodus 20:1-2....

Psalm 68:19 (ESV/emphasis added.jaj)...."Blessed/Praise Be The Lord, Who Daily Bears us Up; God Is our Salvation."....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 160201 - Exodus 20:1-2 (ESV/emphasis added/jaj)...."And God Spoke (to Moses and Aaron on Mount Sinai) All These Words, Saying, 'I AM The Lord your God, Who Brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.'"....

Exodus Chapter 20 is what we have come to know as The Ten Commandments.  According to Judaism's Talmud, there are 613 mitzvot (commandments) in the Torah.  Exodus 20:1-2 is YAHWEH's Introduction to His Big Ten.  The three points I Hear The Spirit Sharing with me this morning deal within this realm of God's Commandments to us.

(1) I AM The Lord your God - I appreciate that God The Father makes it clear to us from the get-go of Who He Is in our Lives.  So often in my own life I know how easily distracted I can become.  It is a Blessing to Have Him, our Lord Jesus as that Constant, That ROCK of God that we can Cling to regardless of what else is going on around us

(2) Who Brought you out - God The Father/Son/Holy Spirit Is Always Engaged and Working In, Around and Through us.  Yes I know that I've made, at times, poor choices in my Life - Praise God, though, He Is Able to Work even within my poor choices to Ensure His Will Be Done.

(3) Praise God for His Son, our Lord Jesus and His Crystallizing 613 commandments in to TWO - Matthew 22:37-40 (ESV/emphasis added.jaj)...."(And Jesus Answered)....'You Shall Love The Lord your God With All your Heart, And With All your Soul, And With All your Mind.  THIS Is The Great and First Commandment.  And A Second Is Like It: You Shall Love your Neighbor as yourself.  On THESE Two Commandments Depend All The Law and the Prophets.'"....

Team, what a Word of Encouragement, to Know that God The Father, Who Saved His children of Israel, He Is Still Saving us today from our own "Egypt" enslavements.  God The Father Sent His Ultimate Warrior and Redeemer, our Lord Jesus Christ, to Lead us out of our self-imposed slavery to sin, and to Become Joint-Inheritors with Him via His Blood, Sacrifice and Resurrection.  Lastly, How Blessed we Are that our Lord Jesus Gave us The Two Great Commandments to Follow.  Clearly He Did So in His earthly Walk with us - I know He Will Strengthen us and Empower us to do the very same.

My Prayer for us today would be - Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Help us to Ever Remember that You Are With us Always.  Lord Jesus, Help Your Word to Soak into their Soil of our Hearts.  Holy Spirit, Guide us, as You Did the children of Israel.  Father God Help our TRUST in You to Grow Deeper.  Lord Jesus we Ask these Prayers in Your Holy Name....Amen/Amen.jaj
