PJP2 THANKS TEXT 151216 - Luke 2:8-14 (ESV)/(emphasis added/jaj)....{The Shepherds and the Angels}..."And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.  And An Angel of The Lord Appeared to them, And The Glory of The Lord Shone Around them, And they were filled with Great Fear.  And The Angel Said to them, 'Fear Not, For Behold, I Bring you Good News of Great Joy That Will Be For ALL the people.  For unto you Is Born This Day in the city of David a Savior, Who Is Christ The Lord.  And This Will Be a Sign For you: you Will Find A Baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a Manger.'  And Suddenly There Was With The angel A Multitude of The Heavenly Host Praising God and Saying, 'Glory to God in The Highest, And on earth Peace among those with whom He Is Pleased!'”....

I am ever Thankful for His Story.  I am Thankful that God The Father chose poor shepherds, the outcast of their culture of the day to Share His Story of His First Advent.  I am Thankful that The Holy Spirit Called His Story Exactly what it is, that is Good News of Great Joy.  I am Thankful that The Lord Jesus is for ALL people.  I am Thankful that Because of His Story, we never have cause to fear whatever may come our way, Because He Is With us Now and Forever.

May The Light of His First Advent fill our darkness.  May His Peace Flow through us to those around us who may not yet Know our Lord Jesus as Lord and Savior.  May the Hope of The Angels' Message Renew us once more that The Holy Spirit is indeed within us and working through us to further God's Kingdom among us.
