Psalm 71:14-18 (ESV)/(emphasis added/jaj)...."BUT I Will HOPE Continually and Will Praise You Yet More and More.  My mouth Will Tell of Your Righteous Acts, of Your Deeds of Salvation All The Day,
for Their Number Is Past my knowledge.  With The Mighty Deeds of The Lord God I Will Come; I Will Remind them of Your Righteousness, Yours Alone.  O God, from my youth You Have Taught me, And I Still Proclaim Your Wondrous Deeds.  So Even to old age and gray hairs, O God, Do Not forsake me, Until I Proclaim Your Might to another generation, Your Power to All those to come."....

PJP2 THANKS TEXT 151212 - Amos 7:7 (ESV)/(emphasis added/jaj)...."This Is What He Showed me: Behold, The Lord Was Standing Beside a wall Built With A Plumb Line, with A Plumb Line In His Hand."....

I am so Very Thankful for The Lord's Gift in my life of having been born to John A. and Mary A. Johnson.  I have shared in previous PJP2s that "Pops" Johnson, a humble and amazing man of God, had (and still has) a significant impact upon my own Relationship with God The Father.  Part of The Way The Lord has employed Pops Faith in my own Walk with Him is via Lessons Pops taught me through very common things.  The Plumb Line is one of those very common things that Pops used many times with me.  I am Thankful for this picture we get from Amos 7:7, of The Lord using A Plumb Line.  As I pondered this today, I Hear The Holy Spirit Reminding me, via the Voice of John A. "Pops" Johnson, 'Always be sure, Jeff, that it's Plumb and Square.  The job isn't finished until it is Plumb and Square.'  I am Thankful that our Lord Jesus Provides us Clear Guidance with Him Being our Living Plumb Line to ensure God's Way in our Lives indeed is 'Plumb and Square'.

Thanks Pops for ever being True to His Word in your own Life.  Thanks for being yet One More Example that He Gave me to Know His Word is True and Leads us To Him.
