PJP2 THANKS 151207 THANKS Focus Hosea 11:1 (ESV)....

Psalm 89:52 (ESV)/(emphasis added/jaj)...."Blessed Be The Lord Forever!  Amen and Amen."....

PJP2 THANKS TEXT 151207 - Hosea 11:1 (ESV)/(emphasis added/jaj)....{The Lord's Love for Israel}
...."When Israel was a child, I Loved him, and out of Egypt I Called My Son."....

I am Thankful that God The Father Loves us so very much that He Still Today Hears us in our own enslavements and Calls us to Return to Him.  I am Thankful for His Hidden Pearls and Nuggets of Gold that He Leaves for us along Life's Trail.  I am Thankful that His Holy Spirit Helps and Provides New Meaning and Understanding to His Passages of the Word Select (POWS), so many times when we least expect them to be 'uncovered'.

For example, in Hosea 11:1, if one does just a cursory reading of the POWS, "My Son" at the end of the POWS would seem to be indicative of God The Father Calling to His son, Israel.  I would agree that is one meaning.

However, as often our Lord does, He inserts this POWS via our Lord's Story shared via The Holy Spirit's Inspired Word to Matthew as he records in Matthew 2:13-15 (ESV)....
....{The Flight to Egypt}...."Now when they had departed, behold, an Angel of The Lord Appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, 'Rise, Take The Child and His mother, and Flee to Egypt, And Remain there Until I Tell you, for Herod is about to search for The Child, to destroy Him.'  And he rose and took The Child and His mother by night and departed to Egypt and remained there until the death of Herod. This Was to Fulfill What The Lord had Spoken by the prophet (Hosea 11:1), 'Out of Egypt I Called My Son.'”....

I am Thankful that He has Blessed us with our place in Time that He may Reveal to us, in HIs Perfect Timing, His On-going and Continual Presence and Interaction with us as His children.

May the Grace of our Lord Jesus be with you and yours.  May His Hand ever be upon Your Way.  May His Spirit Continue to Open our Hearts, Souls and Minds to His Way in our lives.

Blessings/jaj
