PJP2 SIP 151223 SIP Focus Luke 2:8-11 (ESV)/(emphasis added/jaj)….O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Father God, Thank You for Your Eternal Love, Forgiveness and Grace.  We Praise You.  We Worship You.  Lord Jesus, as we pause to ponder today Your First Advent, Guide me as I Lift Up this Paraphrase of Prayer and Praise from Your Inspired Word to Luke as he writes in Luke 2:8-11....Father God, Help us to Learn from The Lesson of The Shepherds and The Angels that You have Given us from that night long ago.  Holy Spirit, Guide us to Understand that You are with us, as You were with The Shepherds.  You too were 'in the Same Region' as they were.  Lord Jesus, as those Ancient Shepherd were 'out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night', so were You Coming to us to be our Good Shepherd for all Eternity.  Father God, as You Sent Your Angel to Appear and Speak to The Shepherds, Open the Ears of our Hearts and Souls to Listen and Respond to You today.  Holy Spirit, when Through Creation, or Your Presence in another that You Bring Near us, May we Witness and Know that You have Appeared to us, And that The Glory of The Lord is Shining All Around us.  Lord Jesus Calm our Souls that our fear not be of the world that cringes at Your Presence.  Teach us that when we Fear You, it is in Faithful veneration, in Esteem and Exaltation, in Awe and Adoration, and in Reverence and Respect that we Come Before You.  Father God, Help us Heed and Obey When You Speak to us, as Your Angel Spoke to The Shepherds, saying, ‘Fear Not, for Behold, I Bring you Good News of Great Joy That Will Be For ALL the people.'  Lord Jesus Help us be Your Witnesses today that Proclaim Your Word.  Indeed Holy Spirit, as it was that First Advent, You Bring This Miracle to us today, telling us, 'For Unto you Is Born This Day in the city of David a Savior, Who Is Christ The Lord.’  O Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, Heavenly Father, In Your Holy Name we Lift Up these Prayers....Amen/Amen....jaj
