PJP2 PROLOG POST 151228 Revelation 1:1-3 (ESV)/(emphasis added/jaj)....{Prologue}...."The Revelation of Jesus Christ, Which God Gave Him To Show To His servants The Things That Must Soon Take Place.  He Made It Known By Sending His Angel To His servant John, who Bore Witness To The Word of God And To The Testimony of Jesus Christ, Even To All That he Saw.  Blessed Is the one who Reads Aloud The Words Of This Prophecy, And Blessed Are those who Hear, And who Keep What Is Written In It, For The Time Is Near."....

As I ponder over 2015, and begin to look towards 2016, I Hear The Holy Spirit Reminding me of His Pointing Toward my One True Focus Remaining Steadfast on my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  I am finding it very intriguing to contemplate the word Revelation.  On the one hand, if you would consider with me, God's Entire Inspired Scripture is His Revelation to us of our Past and Present and His Future Plan for us from cover to cover, which is crystallized in the Concept of Relationship.  From God The Father's Creation of man in Genesis, His Intent for us has ever been Realtionship with Him.  He Reflected His Desire for our Relationship with Him to be Reflected in our Relationship with one another, our Relationship with the rest of His Creation Around us, as well as His Ability to have a One on One Relationship with us via His One and Only Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

You all know how much I enjoy doing word searches via the Bible Gateway Search Engine....so, plug in the word "Revleation" and we find fifteen POWS that God's Inspired His writers of The Word to use.  It is interesting, though, that The Holy Spirit appears to have used Revelation only once in The Old Testament - that would be 2 Samuel 7:27 (ESV).....(King David praying/speaking with YAHWEH as David prepares for Solomon to build A House for God)...."For You, O Lord of Hosts, The God of Israel, Have Made This Revelation To Your servant, Saying, ‘I Will Build you A House.’  Therefore Your servant Has Found Courage To Pray This Prayer To You.'"....Perhaps one of my Favorite POWS which uses the Word Revelation (other than our PROLOG POST 151228 Revelation 1:1-3) would be Luke 2:32 (ESV)...."A Light for Revelation to the Gentiles, And for Glory to Your people Israel"....Afterall, isn't that what a Revelation does?  Doesn't a Revelation turn into an "Ah Ha!" moment?  Like telling a Story, or a Joke, or a Mystery, when we Finally Capture the True Meaning, indeed The Light goes ON, and The Revelation of The Truth Becomes Clear to us.  Thus Revelation 1:3 (ESV)/(emphasis added/jaj)...."Blessed Is the one who Reads Aloud The Words Of This Prophecy, And Blessed Are those who Hear, And who Keep What Is Written In It, For The Time Is Near."....begins to make even MORE Sense....SINCE God's Light Has Come into our world of woe and darkness, for us to MOVE out of our self-inflicted destruction, we do Need His Revelation of His First Guidance to us that we were Created to Be In Relationship with Him, and ONLY THROUGH HIM can we Be Reconciled BACK to That Relationship, By Which we Find Light and Life.

Ok, let me wind this PJP2 PROLOG POST 151228 down.....I appreciate your patience slogging through this with me.  I am Sensing via His Holy Spirit, that the next few days ponderings will be special times - I look forward with you as He Surprises us with These Thoughts.

So, my prayer for us today would be to Lift Up 1 Peter 1:3-12 as our Prayer.....

1 Peter 1:3-12 (ESV)/(emphasis & paraphrase added/jaj)....{Born Again to a Living Hope}....
I would Ask you All to Join with me as we Pray - Blessed Be The God And Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!  Holy Spirit Help us to Better Grasp that According to His Great Mercy, He Has Caused us to Be Born Again to A Living Hope Through The Resurrection of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ From The grip of death.  Thank You, Father God, for Raising Him To An Inheritance that is Imperishable, undefiled, and unfading.  Lord Jesus, Thank You, as well, That You Are Keeping This Inheritance for us in Heaven for us.  It is Indeed by God The Father's Power that we Are Being Guarded Through our Faith in Him, For a Salvation Ready To Be Fully Revealed in The Last Time.  In this Truth, we Can and Will Rejoice.  Holy Spirit, Continue to Strengthen and Encourage us for Though Now for just a Little While, If Necessary, we May Have Been Grieved by various trials.  Lord Jesus, Help us to Understand that these Trials and Challenges are to Help Test the Genuineness of our Faith in You.  Brothers and Sisters, This Faith is Far More Precious than gold that perishes.  Yet even we understand that eartly gold is Tested and Purified by mortal fire.  Thus The Same with our Faith, God's 'Gold' in our Lives, that It May be Found to Result in Praise And Glory And Honor At The Revelation of Jesus Christ.  Holy Spirit, Help us Ever To Remember and Reflect that Though we Have Not physically Seen Him, we Do Love Him. Though we Do Not Now See Him, we Do Believe in Him And Rejoice With a Joy That Is Inexpressible And Filled With God's Glory.  Father God, You Assure us that we will be Obtaining Your Promised Outcome of our Faith, Which Is - The Salvation of our Souls.

My Beloved Family of The Faith, and to those who perhaps do Not Yet Know our Lord Jesus Christ, Concerning This Salvation, God The Father Sent us His prophets who prophesied about The Grace That Was To Be ours Searched And Inquired Carefully, Inquiring What person or time The Spirit of Christ In them Was Indicating When He Predicted The Sufferings of Christ And The Subsequent Glories (see Revelation 19-22).  Thank You Father God, for By Your Holy Spirit, This Was Revealed to them (and to us Through them) That they and we were Serving Not the self BUT You, In The Things That Have Now Been Announced to us Through those who Preached The Good News, His Story of Mercy and Grace, to us By The Holy Spirit, Who, Praise God, our Lord Jesus Sent to us to Indwell Within us, From Heaven.  Praise You Father God, as You Continue to Share with us even Things into which Your Angels long to look.  We Lift Up All These Prayers in Your Holy and Precious Name....Amen and Amen.....
