Psalm 145:13-16 (ESV)/(emphasis added/jaj)...."Your Kingdom Is an Everlasting Kingdom, And Your Dominion Endures throughout all generations.  [The Lord Is Faithful In ALL His Words And Kind In ALL His Works.]  The Lord Upholds All who are falling And Raises Up all who are bowed down.  The Eyes of ALL Look to You, And You Give them their Food in Due Season.  You Open Your Hand; You Satisfy the Desire of Every Living Thing."....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 151223 Part 3 The Angels' Message - Luke 2:8-14 {21st Century King James Version (KJ21)}/(emphasis added/.jaj)...."And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.  And Lo, The Angel of The Lord Came Upon them, And The Glory of The Lord Shone Round About them, And they were sore afraid.  And The Angel Said Unto them, 'Fear Not, For Behold, I Bring you Good Tidings of Great Joy, Which Shall Be to ALL people.  For Unto you Is Born This Day in the City of David a Savior, Who Is Christ The Lord.  And This Shall Be a Sign Unto you: You Shall Find The Babe Wrapped in swaddling clothes, Lying in A Manger.'  And Suddenly There Was With The Angel a Multitude of The Heavenly Host Praising God and Saying, 'Glory to God In The Highest, And on earth Peace, Good Will Toward men!'”....

The past two days of the PJP2 PROLOG POST we have pondered on The Message The Angels had Delivered on God The Father's Behalf.  I must admit I have always been fascinated by Angels, If you do a word search via Bible Gateway's Search Engine, with the word 'Angel' you get 282 verses with Angel(s) involved.  Refining that to "Angel Said", the search engine shares 69 results where the 'angel said' something to someone.  Now, not to fret, I am NOT going to go through all 69 of these POWS.  :)   I do, though find it interesting that an Angel and/or Angels have significant participation in the First Advent of our Lord Jesus.....Consider.....Matthew 1:20-23 (The Angel of The Lord Appeared to Joseph, our Lord Jesus' earthly step-father, in a dream); Matthew 2:12 (The Wise Men, though The Word does not say an Angel/Angels carried God's Message, they too were 'warned in a dream); Matthew 2:13 (An Angel warned Joseph to leave due to Herod's Order); Matthew 2:19 (An Angel told Joseph to bring the Holy Family Home to Nazareth once Herod had died); Now flip to Luke.....In Luke 1:11-20, 'An Angel of The Lord {Angel Gabriel}' appeared to Zechariah (John the Baptist's Dad) during Zechariah's perfoming his priestly duties in The Temple; Luke 1:26-38, Gabriel visits with Mary to Give Her the Good News of she being Chosen to Bear/Deliver our Lord Jesus for His First Advent.  We already are well aware of Luke 2:8-20 where first The Angel of The Lord appears to the shepherds, and then the Multitude of The Heavenly Hosts arrive.  I would also Mention Simeon and Anna, The Word indicates that SImeon was Filled with The Holy Spirit, and he Blesses Jesus as The Holy Family is there to Dedicate Jesus at The Temple.  Anna, likewise, out-of-the-apparent-blue, walks up and Blessed them, Giving Thanks to God for His Grace.

Ok....here's The Point I Hear The Holy Spirit Sharing with me via All these Ponderings regards the Angels and our Lord's First Advent.  I am Convinced that God's Angels are Still Delivering His Message of His First Advent, as well as His Second Advent to us today.  I am Confident He Is Calling to us to Be Aware, Be Alert and Be Ready, for very much like His Amazing and Sudden Appearance as The Master in The Manger all those years ago in Bethlehem, as He Promises in Revelation 16:15...."Behold, I Am Coming like a thief!  Blessed is the one who Stays Awake".....

Thus my Prayer for us today would simpy be, Lord Jesus, Help us to Ever Be Awake and Aware of Your Working within, through and all around us.  Holy Spirit, as Your watchmen, Help us to Ever Sound Your Alarm and Alert that our Lord Jesus Second Advent is indeed Soon Upon us.  Father God, may we in Your Will and Way Facilitate those Responding to Your Call to Come and Return to You.  Lord Jesus Help Us Reflect Your Mercy, Love and Grace for All of mankind.  We Lift Up these Prayers in Your Holy Name.....Amen/Amen....jaj
