Psalm 80:1-3 (ESV)/(emphasis added/jaj)....{Restore Us, O God}...."Give Ear, O Shepherd of Israel, You Who Lead Joseph Like A Flock.  You Who Are Enthroned Upon the cherubim, Shine Forth.  Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, Stir Up Your Might And Come To Save us!  Restore us, O God; Let Your Face Shine, That we May Be Saved!"....

PJP2 PROLOG POST 151204 - Hosea 2:14-15 (ESV)/(emphasis added/jaj)....{The Lord's Mercy on Israel}....“(And God Said)....'Therefore, Behold, I Will Allure her, And Bring her Into The Wilderness,
and Speak Tenderly to her.  And There I Will Give her her Vineyards and make The Valley of Achor a Door of HOPE.  And There she Shall Answer As in the days of her youth, As at The Time when she came out of the land of Egypt."....

Hosea is a fascinating account of God The Father Calling His prophet (Hosea) to Not Only Share God's Message to God's children to Repent and Return to God.  BUT God, via Hosea's Obedience to God's Instruction that Hosea marry Gomer, a wife who repeatedly had adulterous relationships, Reflected His Steadfast Love for His children, openly Accepting them back to Him, as Hosea did with Gomer.  At one point Hosea (check out Hosea 2:2-3) 'bought her back'.  Just as God The Father bought us back at the Expense of His Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  So, how does Hosea and Gomer's Story tie in with our Lord Jesus' First Advent?  Summed up in this - The Love of GOD.  It is clearly God's Love for us that is Reflected in Hosea's Love for his wife Gomer.  Likewise YAHWEH's Love for His children, who repeatedly was drawn away by idolatry, greed, selfishness.....sin.  God The Father Continued to be Consistent in His Demonstrating His Love and Willingness to Forgive upon their (and our) Repenting and Returning to Him.  Our Lord Jesus is afterall God The Father's Ultimate Plan for our Redemption, Returning and Reconciliation to a Right Relationship with Him.

On additional Point I Hear the Spirit Sharing this morning - In Hosea 2:14, God The Father states, "Behold I Will Allure her, and Bring her into The Wilderness and Speak Tenderly to her".....I pondered on The Wilderness....The Spirit quickly pointed out that The Wilderness/The Desert would Provide NO additional distractions.  Our FOCUS would be totally on HIm and His Working with us.  Note as well that in The Wilderness, God The Father was Prepared to Provide and Sustain them via His Love.  The Result, we will have a Revived Sense of HOPE (He's Our Promise Eterenal).

Thus my prayer for us today would be a Paraphrase of Prayer and Praise employing the PJP2 PROLOG POST 151204 POWS (Psalm 80:1-3 and Hosea 2:14-15).....

Give Ear, O Lord Jesus, our Great Shepherd, You Who Lead Joseph Like A Flock.  Father God, Hear our Prayer, You Who Are Enthroned Upon the cherubim.  Holy Spirit, Shine Forth around, in and through us.  Lord Jesus, we would Pray that You would Come Soon.  Father God, Please Stir Up Your Might And Come To Save us!  Holy Spirit Guide us and Restore us.  O God The Father, Let Your Face Shine upon us, That we May Be Saved!  Therefore, Behold, Lord Jesus, Lead us in Your Way.  Holy Spirit, Guide us Into The Wilderness that we may no long be distracted by our own folly.  Father God, Please Help us to Hear as You Speak Tenderly to us.  Lord Jesus, Open our Hearts and Souls to Be Aware of You and Your Gift of Your Righteous 'Vineyards of New Life'.  Holy Spirit Help us to Reflect that You have Made our Hearts to be Like 'The Valley of Achor' which is a Door of HOPE for us and all to Walk Through in You.  Father God, Stengthen us to Respond to You and Your Love for us.  Lord Jesus, Help us to Repent and Return, as we were in the days of our youth, May we Once More, come out of our own 'slavery' to sin, and Follow You in Your Path's of Light and Righteousness.  Lord Jesus we ask all these Prayers in Your Name....Amen/Amen....jaj
