PJP2 THANKS TEXT 151120 - Ezekiel 24:27 (ESV)/(emphasis added/jaj)...."On That Day your mouth Will Be Opened to the fugitive, And you Shall Speak and Be No Longer mute.  So you Will Be a Sign to them, and they Will Know That I Am The Lord.”....

I am Thankful for the Signs and Wonders our Lord and Savior continues to employ all around us, even in the midst of our most trying and darkest times.  The savage and tragic events of last Friday in Paris are still very fresh in our minds.  As we have watched and read the news reports this week, at least I know for me I have felt both grief and anger.  Grief for the victims and their loved ones, anger at what has driven such an atrocity.  I will also admit there is that tendency to scream, "WHY?"  Though, unfortunately, I know the answer - it is a sad statement of our world's condition.  The thin layer of peace versus all-out-war seems at times like an egg-shell simply waiting for that one (or more) instances to crush the membrane and let loose the dogs-of-war.  Take for example our PJP2 THANKS TEXT for today, Ezekiel 24:27.  In this Chapter of Ezekiel, his wife has died.  God The Father has given Ezekiel Guidance in regards to how Ezekiel is to Outwardly to Respond to his loss of his beloved spouse.  Though God's Word does not share with us, I am confident that The Holy Spirit was deeply engaged in Providing Comfort to Ezekiel during this time of loss.  What I hear The Spirit Sharing with me this morning is that He is Still Doing Just That today amongst us.  His Signs and Wonders are Still Present to Remind us that He is In Control, and His Love is Here with us.  One of His Signs and Wonders reported just last night were the Paris Huggers.  There are many Parisians who are carrying signs at the sights of the attacks that are merely offering hugs to those who are mourning.  Interestingly many of those doing this are French Muslims wanting to show their support and concern for those who have suffered loss.  I also read yesterday where the Billy Graham Ministries have sent at least 6-8 trained providers who specialize in grief recovery.  They are off to Paris to provide Comfort.  As our Lord Jesus Shared in Matthew 5:4...."Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be Comforted."  He is indeed at Work.

May we as well continue to Offer Up our Prayers for Peace and Comfort to those abroad and here at home who desperately Need His Loving Grace in their lives.
