PJP2 THANKS TEXT 151118 - Ezekiel 17:8 (ESV)/(emphasis added/jaj)...."It had been Planted on Good Soil by Abundant Waters, that It Might Produce Branches and Bear Fruit and Become a Noble Vine."....

I am Thankful for The Imagery our Lord employs throughout His Word to Help us Visualize His Concepts of Mercy, Love and Grace.  As in Ezekiel 17:8, The Holy Spirit Inspried Ezekiel to use the image of a Vine.  If you do a word search via Bible Gateway's Search Engine, the word Vine turns up 176 times.  Several times our Lord Jesus uses the Vine as a visualization of what The Kingdom of God is like, as well as referring to Himself as God's Ultimate Vine of Life....John 15:1 (ESV)(emphasis added/jaj)...."I Am The True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser"....

I am Thankful that Because of The Lord Jesus' Sacrifice and Gift of Salvation, we too Become Grafts of Him The True Vine.  We do Grow and Produce Fruit for God and His Kingdom as long as we Remain Rooted and Fixed in Him.

Thus my Prayer for us today is just that - Holy Spirit Help us to Ever Remain Focused on Him our Lord Jesus.  Father God, Empower us to Produce The Fruit of Your Holy Spirit and Encourage those who do Not Know You to Come, Take, Eat of Your Grace.
